    Bezos makes so much money it's stupid. I tried to cancel my Kindle Unlimited online Monday night but couldn't, so I opted to get a call from customer service. When I explained *why* I was cancelling (the whole "I sleep 20 hours out of the day because cancer radiation therapy") and despite insisting on NOT getting any sort of refund, I just wanted to cancel until like February-ish, they refunded the last two month's. $20 is $20, but I feel bad bc the author I had been reading is someone I know on Fark. Hopefully it doesn't affect his pay.

    Now, to see if the refund actually goes through or not.

    Ok, look, the author lost some small part of their income and readership, but I'm reasonably certain the author does not want your 'sleeping while on chemo' money. I bet they want you to spend your money on, you know... cancer.
