Try being at a place that asks you to interact directly with COVID patients and then to doff your gear and save the single use disposable gown by wiping it down with hand sanitizer.

they classified the workers at my wife's hospital to determine who should get access to the vaccines first. my wife, a nurse with direct patient care, got listed in the 3rd tier. management (mostly with limited to no direct patient care) and their immediate family members got higher priority.

I’m sorry to hear that. Our hospitals here are vaccinating literally everyone they employ regardless of job or risk or exposure level or even if they physically work in the hospital (know a guy who is a line cook in the kitchen and has zero patient contact that got his two days ago) before Anyone in the community or patients

Based on my calculations I should be getting the vaccine right before Covid-24 is set to come out.

 

Yeah, but unfortunately not surprising.

Last month they stopped doing patient temperature checks at the entrance because WHO KNOWS! And if employees got infected with Covid they would be set home, and get written up for missing work....

You would think the health care places would be on the forefront of protecting their workers and patients from this but that is clearly not the case.
