Just ate my super spicy chewy cold noodles!

Comes out looking like this

Super chewy noodles, spice that builds, very flavorful heat. Uniquely served cold and I really like that because I don't have to rush to eat them before they become cold. My stomach hurts really bad after I eat these and I always regret it later but it's well worth the flavor and experience.

Does spicy food make your stomach hurt? What are the little bits with the noodles?

 

The little bits of noodles are just really chewy noodles if I know what you're talking about and no, normally spicy food doesn't hurt my stomach just these!

 

The big chunks in that second picture are bits of noodles???

Man that sucks. I think everyone has a food they love that doesn't love them back

Mine are the shin ramyun noodles and the Popeyes spicy chicken sandwich

Oh no those are bits of wheat gluten. Kinda like a bread almost? We didn't have those in our pack so we added fried bean curd for the extra bit to it.
Oh man, I just hate the taste of the Shin Ramyun! It's not the spicy it's just that it doesn't have flavor past the spice imo?

 

These are my answer if you want a spicy ramen with flavor

 

I haven't really thought of it that way. The red packet is mainly just spice. The black one is much better in my opinion, but I usually add leftover bits of meat to the broth while it's cooking, so I can't say I've noticed the lack of flavor.

 

Those look like death in noodle form to me . I can't handle spice really well. I got a stomach ache just looking at those lol

 

Yeah I think the next time (if) I get that I'll toss in left over meat and some veg. I find that's the big thing about it with most noodles and you'll find that's what they do in Japan/that region. They always have add ins to most of those pre-made meals.

 

I know! My local costco's has started carrying Japanese noodles and the premium noodles from other countries. It's crazy how many extra ingredients you get with those!

Sigh... I have to try everything, food related, once. I'll probably pick a up a pack of those noodles you recommended next time I go to my local asian market and then die immediately after trying them
