    No, it's at best a bad look and at worst suuuuuuper scummy.

    But it's going to happen. It's a fact of reality same as the sun coming up every morning.
    Oh I think yesterday he lost $10MM lolol.

    Overall he cashed out like $14MM though so no matter what dude is good for life, which is super cool.

    There was a good reason for that. Long story short, Robinhood didn't have the money to fulfill the trades especially since the shares weren't available since they were being traded so much.

    When you trade on Robinhood, it's not instant. It goes through several institutions like clearinghouses. They all have to essentially front the money or shares. With the volume of trading, it takes time and extra money (which they didn't have) to find and complete all the trades. What they did was well within their user agreement in plain language and is actually encouraged because it acts like a circuit breaker for the market so we don't end in terrible economic situations like a depression.
