02/02 - Two Two Tuesday

So my first time turking since Thanksgiving when I broke my leg and spent a month in the hospital. Still can't walk, fun times. Did I miss much? I just got excited seeing the $8 survey for ASD peeps. Snagged it and saw they want a copy of your diagnosis uploaded. I do have that but sure as hell am not giving it to some rando on mturk especially for that low of an hourly. Why are requesters like this? It also strikes me they will have a hell of time getting "legit" responses since getting a formal diagnosis as an adult is really hard, it took me years. and if you were diagnosed as a kid it's not like you have that nueropsych report lying around.

 

Adding camphor oil to the aspercreme might kick it up a notch.

 

This reminded me of one time I was in the store and I watched one of those order pickers LICK HER FINGERS to open a produce bag, then proceed to pick produce with the SAME HANDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD. I have never done order pick up, and after that I won't. MAYBE for stuff that does not involve fresh produce, but that's few and far between. I rarely don't need fresh fruit or veggies. I just can't do it and people around me are like "you're so irresponsible for going INTO the store" and I'm like "I'll risk it a few times a month, cause I'm not getting slober food."

 

I only have one other, and it's a throwaway account I use for other stuff and it gives the same message.

I am just in the habit of only going twice a month, so it's worked out very well for me. The finger licking was before the Rona, but I still don't trust it since I've seen that. lol

trick; take the opening end and just rub it between your fingers for a pinch. The friction will open it. have to do this on the end that opens up though y'know

Yeah that's what I have always done myself, but apparently licking doorknobs is cool with some people.

 

I can't tell you how many resealable ziplock style packages I've gotten pissed at trying to open and fucked it all kinds up opening it. Requiring another ziplock to place the first ziplock package into.
