Right, the qual'ed hits won't let you do them. You need to be on top of your game and do the qualification hits they post before they post the qual'ed hits. Some qual'ed hits are old quals and will not re-open, like Sergey's. But there was an OCMP82 qual hit last month that I got and I scored a $100 day off that qual'ed batch they posted. There was GSB Crowd Forest, who posted a qual test and they post work now.

You have to get the actual hit that gives you the qualification. Requesting a qual literally does nothing, it doesn't even notify the requester in the system. And to find that part, IIRC, they have to go digging, which they won't.

You probably missed the discussion on it a few days (weeks?) ago? Prolific is now charging EVERYONE the 2.9% fee to cashout using Paypal. Circle is the new alternative to avoid getting charged that fee. It was really easy to set up (although I needed to be able to receive text messages, I don't know if there's a non-text message option)

:salt: I'm still bummbed they only gave me the first half of that qual, I missed the second half and they never responded to my email asking to do it. I really liked the qual hits, it was my kind of fun.

Requested qualifications (that aren't auto-granted) are very literally sent into a black hole.

There is no where in the requester dashboard for a requester to see who has requested their qualifications.

There are commands for the CLI/API to get a list of people who have requested it. All it returns is a giant list of worker IDs with absolutely no information whatsoever about their accounts. No indication on if they're a good worker, where they're from, other quals they have. Nothing useful. Just a 20-some-odd length alphanumeric worker ID on a line multiplied by however many people have clicked that stupid link. When I had the TH CAPTCHA HIT up the list of worker IDs was just hundreds of lines long w/ nothing but alpha-numeric characters thrown around at random. Completely & utterly worthless haha.

I'm almost positive its just a broken dangling piece of another system AMT has setup to deal with qualifications. I'd be downright shocked if anyone in the history of mTurk ever granted quals based on the requests because there is just zero reason to do so and honestly its got to be the most difficult way to even find a worker ID in order to give them a qual in the first place.

This is what the command to pull down qual requests generates, as you can see its.. not very helpful (I cut off the 2nd half of all the worker IDs, but its blank beyond that.

1,800 lines of.. garbage haha. And these are just random people who happened to click 'request qual' on the TH CAPTCHA HIT I had up for a few weeks before Amazon took it down.. Now imagine that for an actual Requester putting out real work on the platform. The list would be miles long & pretty much meaningless.
