not too put words in anyone's mouths or anything and every company has different hiring processes but as a hiring manager I would never invite someone to something like that that I wasn't going to hire

 

Doesn't this just mean you got it? Who the fk schedules a call for a decline lol, that's an auto-email in 6-3,025 months

 

Many companies have the same procedures for informing a rejected candidate as they do for informing someone who actually got the job, so don't worry @gurlondrums, you can still get rejected.

 

No worries. I'm definitely the guy with a wealth of experience in this field. Using my post as a sanity anchor has no possible downsides.
