You shouldn't do what they're asking, bit only because doing so would compromise your AMT account security. It's essentially just self-doxxxing yourself to do this and every time it comes up that's my position and AMT really needs to fix this issue on their end.

I really, really dislike the messaging behind this take dude please chill. As someone who fucked up and submitted 3,000+ HITS blank once if a requester hit me with this bullshit line my worker account wouldn't even exist. You would never want to hear this messaging from a req. If the functionality existed w/o undue harm the money would absolutely be returned.

The only sticking point is the serious TOS violation fixing this requires. The money should absolutely be returned. It just can't be.

 

I once had a requester I think add an extra 0 on to the bonus and I ended up with a sizeable bonus, I don't recall if they emailed me asking for it back or not, it was years ago.

That's right. They assume everyone has Paypal. Wish I would have done that HIT.

 

Yeah, I don't have PayPal, so if I would have done this, they would be SOL. Not by choice, but I wouldn't know any other way to go about it.

 

wouldn't this also lead to issues with the whole study? I didn't do the hit but you'd think them having the info on that many participants could get sketchy also.
