03/05 - I Almost Forgot It's Friday

I think we should all report SurveyComet to MTurk. Why should a "qual" from one requester control our access to work from so many other requesters? One requester blocking us from potentially hundreds? It's a high number, I started making a list of the requesters using this block, and it's growing.

A few months ago I had also read about their quals and reading horror stories on reddit.

They've literally made a qualification network where people are using a filtering system inside the mturk platform, where mturk doesn't have control and they have control of who can participate on mturk. It never made sense to me, but it sounds like they've loopholed and side stepped an mturk policy where the other requesters themselves are supposed liable for how they filter or pre-screen.

Would be awesome if we could create qual requirement blocks and convince the community to just avoid cr research for a while, but I doubt many people are willing to not earn $0.10 or $1.00 for a bigger cause.

They have too many requesters under their belt, I think the best thing to do is report SurveyComet for this mass block qual. If enough people report this Amazon might realize how it's destroying the system they've set up.
