    what if bitcoin and dogecoin are hedges against political instability within individual countries. then when there is political stability the value ofbitcoin and dogecoin will drop and the value of the individual country's currency will rise. then the only people buying bitcoin and dogecoin will be from the least politcally stable countries. right or wrong?

    Not so much political instability but inflation. There are a few institutions that are trying to use it to hedge against inflation instead of tradition inflation hedges like gold. A good example is Venezuela which is politically unstable but it was because inflation was overdosing on steroids that crypto became super popular.

    bitcoin and dogecoin would then have inflation instead of the country's currency. that sort of seems like what's happening now here. so doing that would reduce hyperinflation in the country's currency, but cause a milder stagflation in the country's currency?
