I have no less than 30 lab tests/yr proving any cause of death other than the big man upstairs carrying his ass back on down here to do the job himself is statistically impossible.

 

Oh, that was like 11 years ago!

My GP now yells, "BIRD IS NOT A TOY!" whenever some resident/fellow thinks I'm his key to a riveting study. And then I just terrorize the rest enough that they're too creeped out to bother me anymore.

Last resident did not find it funny when my patient goal was, "to outlive mine enemies so that I may dance on their graves." (My name was: "“Behold, I am coming soon, and my chart is with me, to give to each one according to what he has specialized in. I am the alpha-chick and the omega-bird, the first patient and the last patient left standing. Blessed are those who wash their hands, so that they may have the right to the chart of the bird and may enter her patient room by its door...but you may call me Birdie.)

My gp agreed it was a solid goal, tho!

I feel bad for everyone at the office/hospital that I have a doctor who is just as nanners crazy as I am, so our combined lunacy just makes residents want to die welcome to the thunderdome, Grinches! I spend way too much time in and out of the doctor and it's made me chippy!

 

He's probably got a more remarkable bladder...

Right there with you! My blood sugar just tanked to 45 and my hubby texted*** and asked if I was dying. First, if I was dying, probably not going to respond to a text. Second, if he thought I was dying he should call one of my three sons that are here, not text the dying person. Third, he KNOWS that EVERY day at this time I eat (protein and fat), attempt to exercise, and crash my blood sugar. OMG...seriously.

***I have a continuous glucose monitor that alerts him if my blood sugar is under 60...which is 50% of the time.
