I use this extension https://darkreader.org/

 

i use "High Contrast" extension on Chrome, you can pick and choose whats in dark mode per each page. Qualtrics and such *IS* dark modedd with this cause i have to basically have everything in dark mode cause of my severe eye issues.

 

Have you tried the dark reader extension? Was high contrast better, or is it just the one you use?

 

I don't mind opening my own browser on surveys but for batch work quebicles i-frame loads 2 seconds faster than my chrome and time is money especially on these nickel and dime batches.

 

not gonna lie, ive tried almost every dark mode on the chrome store. most break HORRIBLY (this one does break on google forms hits but those are fairly rare so ymmv)
dark reader made some pages super bug out (ebay is one that i use for HOURS daily for my small biz so i HAVE to have it working) and overall it just felt laggy at times.

 

I've never had trouble with ebay but I don't spend hours on there.

 

I played w/ this but it looks horrendous on most sites I tested it with.. qualtrics especially, tbh it meets that threshold of "experiment breaking" for a lot of stuff IMO which I try to steer away from on 'official support' type stuff.

Dark reader is what's in MTS IIRC and it's laggy as vfj843uf348u

yeah i kinda have to cause of parts i need and i dont know what i need sometimes until i get to a certain point and go, oh shit, XX is broken, i need YY part. dark reader would literally break my ebay search page i leave up after like an hour.

hah yeah i thought it might be that. i leave that on light mode and flip my high contrast on and it works fine for me, i get a tiny lag here and there (but on my behalf i usually have about 30 tabs open for hits and such im going to do later that day or such)

 

i mean worst case @ChrisTurk just try it out, if you dont like it, uninstall the extension, but i love it for what i need it for

high contrast that is, not dark reader lol

 

just tried high contrast and I'm not loving the colors it chose but it does make hit loading faster than darkreader so I'll stick with it for batchwork.

it really just should be making everything dark mode

 

the blues are brighter than Im used to but no biggie.

 

anyone else in this Kellogg Kteily Lab hit still waiting? how long do we wait before submitting a non filled group? its been 30m for me now
