Well then essentially you took $35 from the Requester which was intended for someone else who did the actual work. The compensation HIT was set up for someone else who did the work, but there was some kind of error/problem in submitting the HIT.

I mean, they had the qual. Why wouldn't it be for them?

 

I've seen plenty of compensation HITs that are sent out with no quals and some general "only take this if it's intended for you" message. How have you not?

If the compensation HIT was intended for them, they shouldn't be surprised by the $35.
