me my sister and her youngest son all have the same birthday, makes it easy to remember anyway.

 

It is easy to remember. But at least they are all birthdays. I am not even in the wedding. My husband and kids are. But I'm not. So I get to sit alone, with no part in the wedding, watch my family be in the wedding, and be ignored on my birthday. (yes I'm a bitter about the whole thing. lol).

Thanks. I will just have to treat myself to something extra special this year to make up for it... Nothing wrong with buying yourself a nice birthday present!

 

I buy myself a birthday present every year. I give the best gifts (for me anyway).

 

That is the way to do it. Especially if you can use your spouses credit card and not yours! haha. Well, off for a bit to drive the littles to school. Hopefully, the hits will be overflowing when I get back.

 

Absolutely nothing wrong with that I do it all the time.

My husband sucks at buying gifts and hates shopping, for every occasion except Christmas I inform him what he bought me . For Christmas my kids take his credit card and go buy me something then wrap it and put it under the tree. He tries some years. A few years ago I had mentioned I needed a new sweatshirt he bought me a sweatshirt I really didn't like but I appreciated the effort so I thanked him and hung it in my closet. Never wore it once all year the next year he apparently forgot about it because he bought me the exact same shirt in a different color. I waited a few months then mentioned I had two almost identical sweatshirts did he want one. He wears it all the time.
