I'm jealous. Our old roommate who lived in what is now my room had made this shitty contraption for the AC and literally screwed it in into the wall in a way that you could not clean the AC, so it was so disgusting (not to mention a fire hazard). We finally removed the thing, but until I find a new solution I'm running on just fan power in 80-90 degree weather ):
