I JUST got rejected for the same hit and it took me 8m48s with
"Your response time is significantly shorter than the average" which sounds ridiculous.
already emailing cause being rejected for my time on the HIGH side is insane

I've heard people say that they do consulting work when they don't want to delve too deep into what they do. An independent contractor for Amazon might work too.

 

i just say i work with amazon, not for, "WITH" and that stops most people asking further questions

I think I would ask you for free fries if you told me that, so it doesn't really stop the questions

 

Or I just say I'm self-employed and do different data entry jobs for various clients. It is boring enough that people usually stop asking questions.

 

I've tried telling people I don't have a job, but then they just try to help me get a job.

I used to play a lot of online poker back when it was in a legal, let's say "gray area," and this one poker site only sent paper checks for withdrawals. The checks were always bogus looking (oversized, from some crazy bank out of like Trinidad and Tobago, etc.) One time they sent a check that wouldn't fit in the ATM, so I had to go into the bank to deposit it. The teller looked at it and obviously knew something was weird about it, so she asked where I got it and I said that I did "consulting work for the adult entertainment industry." She asked no more questions, deposited it, and it cleared like 3 days later.

Moral of the story is, I dunno that story isn't going to help you probably.
