I guess it must be putting the devil in the reqs also bc I'm getting so much nonsense in these hits today...

 

I offered 10 and it said if your next offer isn't accepted you will be exited.
I thought it would be cute to ask for the maximum pay, yeah was not cute.

 

these things will speed up your browser when hamming batches -
1. scripts - the more, the bigger, the more the lag
2. clearing your browser history
3. close extra tabs and browser windows

each thing only slows down batches by a tiny amount, so I would only fix if planning on maxing out

 

Not many programmers these days are "closet coders". My last couple of jobs I got flown around the US for meetings, gave presentations to a board room full of suits for multi-million dollar projects, and spent more time in project management that writing code. A well rounded technologist is what most companies want today.

 

I got that bonus yesterday also - I actually did a couple extra tasks but I accidentally hit my back button after the second one and it screwed the survey up so I thought I was screwed. Not sure if he actually got my extra work or just handing out bonuses

I did not skip out.. and had to use MTurk ID and a different code... and got a message that I got that $5 bonus but they didn't have the ID and something else.... so I lost out because I should have gotten like $7 instead of the $5 .. but I'm tired of requester negotiations and I think the task was iffy for information so....
I have better things to do than email him.

 

Yep, it's been like that for me the past couple days. I need a break, so happy the weekend is here.

I've slid into taking either Saturday or Sunday off each week or maybe just doing a PickFu or two or something. Weekends are pretty dead so it's hardly worth scraping for real work.
