Thank you. I haven't messed with these functions for a long time and I guess like so many others, I'm thinking if I do I might catch more. I used to do much better and hardly bothered with them. I initially stumped myself trying to add more than those three watchers I had mention and thought I was able to do that in the past.

 

Yeah, there are 3 other types, just gotta click the button to get to them. Also you can add more than 1 yourview, turkerview, and unrated watchers. I don't see why most people would want to, but you can. Good luck QBC'ing!

 

The other types are what I was trying to add, the three already there I can easily create more.

I am clear up to adding those that are not there. I don't see how to add them to the watchers and create them like the three already there.

You would not be saying that if you were experiencing what I have been for the last few hours... yes, 3 hours now.. similar to a niacin flush - may even be related cus there is niacin in black pepper. But its lasting forever... feels almost similar to a fever

 

before i moved, the house i lived in had the same AC unit from 70s that had been repaired in the early 2000s, then replaced in 2015 before my mother died. sometimes you get REALLY lucky with the quality of some brands. then other times your lucky to get one to last a year

Yeah honestly I think that AC unit is older than the 80s.. I actually found the exact year when I was trying to repair it myself but have since forgot. I originally said 60s before I edited my post which is what I remember but then thought surely that is not right. Very old GE unit.. while researching the model it was almost impossible to find any info, but apparently the equivalent of gearheads for HVAC guys consider these old units to be way higher quality than the new stuff, in terms of durability.... I guess if you keep them in shape they will go forever and work very well

 

Ah, its not really a spiced out kind of thing... its like a reaction to whatever is in the black pepper in massive amounts and its on slow release as its digested I guess

 

yup, i wanna say we had a SUPER early Carrier brand and it HAD to be replaced in 15 cause there were just ZERO parts that we could order anymore to repair what was going on. it was to the point of rigging it for 600ish or replacing the entire system for 1800 with what was supposedly a 3ton unit and blah blah blah by (i think) Rheem


....it lasted not even a year before the compressor and fan blew up

Very familiar with this process... everything in my house is super old and its always impossible to find anything I need at hardware stores. Even ordering online its like a huge ordeal to track stuff down.

 

I won't show you my requester watchers screen (sorry) because I've been building it for 3 years. But I'll try to give you a screen shot and steps of what to do.

This mock-up is just me going to Requesters | TurkerView Worker Review Platform for Amazon Mechanical Turk and grabbing the requester ID of the top 3 recommended.



Then once in watchers->requesters->add new

I get this popup with I paste in the copied requester ID. It should auto-fill the name which you can change if you want. QBC just needs the ID.



I then click on panda (to create a panda for new hits, not just alert you about it), and select if I want an audio alert, text to speech, or pushbullet as alerts. I then can add a min reward and importantly a max per project. For surveys you want to catch one and one only. Otherwise the panda will keep going after you've got it. Max reward self explains. Queue cap is the max you will allow in your queue if you wanted to catch multiple like in a batch. I usually select like 15, so I'm still picking up the batch if 14 or less of them are in my queue, but leave some room for other pandas to catch surveys or whatever. Then add and you're done.


Project requesters are for catching just a specific batch by a specific requester. I've never used one ever.

And keyword watchers are for watching by title of any requester. This is the newest and most unexplored watch QBC has added recently. I only have one with the keyword "qual" looking for qual hits.
