How do you get screened out of a screener survey?

 

I believe those are the only platform watchers available. I think you can still add a TO watcher if you have it enabled in settings below scripts at the bottom on the left, but I've had mine off for over a year and don't have a TO watcher.

Annoying. Task inside the MTurk iframe which is larger than the frame. Every time I sent a message I had to reposition the frame.

Instructions lacking. Puts instructions in the HIT description. Told to book New York to Paris, Paris to Madrid. When trying to book, chatbot stated I needed to book in Asia. Ended up going to Thailand for no reason.

I could have sworn those were on there before. I've had this so long, and really haven't messed with them in eons. Could be it's not making much money so I think it's broke.

That's all I know of Jane. I'm not "the expert", CT is that. But I have used it heavly for a couple of years now. I did post earlier to remind you guys complaining of not catching that it was a slow time of day, on a slow day of the week, in the summertime (which is also slow). QBC isn't magic. It can't catch what isn't there. But CT encouraged DMs with screenshots/questions/examples of problems if you have them this weekend. I'm just not sure what else to say ATM.

 

I think you do pretty good. You should collect your posts and put them together to help others with QBC. Make a manual. Thanks for your help. You're right, it's been terribly slow lately.

 

That's CT's job. I'm just a user, same as you. He gets paid to work here, I do not.

 

Managed to eek out a PE of $20.39 for the day with a $1 pending bonus.

It's been a stellar week! I have more than doubled my $100 weekly goal and there is still a few dollars tomorrow to be had. QBC has really been a game changer. If this keeps going, might have to reset my goals and expectations.

I've PE'd 33.70 today so far but its definitely been slow.. made less yesterday tho.

 

Since we're talking about QBC optimization, One thing I've never used is the un-rated watcher. I've always been too afraid of rejections. How do you guys normally set that particular one up? I normally keep my other watchers at $9 an hour with no min or max.

 

I run an unrated watcher with 1.00 min reward... if it catches one and I want to work it then I will.. if not, I'll return it

A rejection here and there is no big deal.. I'm more concerned with not knowing how bad the hit will be with no reviews

The unrated watcher is for HITs that don't have any turkerview data at all, and it's purely guessing based on pay/how long the hit is expected to take. These are mostly low quality, but you can find some gems in here too. You can always create one and try a min value and see.

 

Thanks, I'm sure I'm way more worried about rejections than I need to be. I'll just start trying it out.
