I threw that back. Look up your own ID. If you miss an attention check, it lets you keep going. My first attention check was kind of vague.

 

What is up with requesters and low approval ratings today? Do they know its Sunday so they are hoping to snag Turkers who wouldn't normally touch their HITs? I threw back 3 HITs in the last 10 minutes.

 

I usually always throw back hits that require you to lookup your ID like that, but I wanted the 80 cents today

 

if you mean the AMT approval rating, that does not seem to be correct all the time. i just had a few "low" approval requesters with no rejections/blocks and a fair amount of approvals on TV. i think that metric is either slow or broken

 

I've just been assuming that newish reqs with low approval ratings but no bad reviews on TV are just having to reject a lot of terrible work because they don't know how to setup their hits to filter the bad workers

Yeah, I look at TV as well before jumping. I am usually comfortable at 95%, but anything below that, the risk vs the reward comes to into play. I know there is some lag, but 74% vs 99% is a big stretch for me.

I screened out of one that was PA residents only which had a low approval ratings as well. Maybe we should start emailing these requesters and offer to fix their setup for $100 a pop
