12/19 - Marzipan Monday!

I did 48 hits yesterday - in the midst of trying to cook a bunch - and find it odd that only one in that bunch has been approved so far...the rest are just sitting there...?? Was it because it was Sunday? I just don't ever remember it being that lopsided - but it may have just been the requesters. Whatever....

 

Some of ya'll need to get avatars. Starting to get spooky around here.

 

I have 41 still sitting there pending from yesterday. It's common and nothing to worry about.

 

A lot of times requesters will post HITs for over the weekend and then approve them during the week. It happens.

 

Only a few on Saturday but I capped them yesterday.

 

Yeah, I had 94 Z's yesterday. I was so disappointed I had to stop halfway through - it was a good Sunday.

 

Yeah exactly. I make a full salary working regular hours. It's not 6 figures but it's a whole lot more than I'd make serving food or working retail for 7.50 an hour.

With the added bonus of not requiring pants.

 

Plus you're the one who schedules your own time, so it's not like your hours can get cut. That was always the worst thing for me working a regular job. Also not dealing with people is great you guys excepted.

 

I don't make that much, but I am also incredibly distracted and still pretty slow. There was an actual article I read that was also on Reddit and I assume started this thread (maybe it is linked, I'm not a Reddit regular) but they interviewed a woman that has been on mturk for 11 years, and said she works up to 17 hrs a day...but if she make $25 in 8 hours, she considers that good. I have been doing this 4 months and I am pretty sure I would apply at McDonald;s if after 11 years, I considered a $25 day good.
