Yeah that makes me cringe really badly. And if that is truly the right timer then I get annoyed because honestly people doing jobs for that rate and length.. make requestors think it's ok to continue to pay that amount for such lengthy work and that's why we find ourselves with little work, or a lot of work with subpar wages.
