It seems to be slowly coming back for me in the past week. Besides today, I've been getting about 7-10 vs 2-3 since that Tik Tok.

 

Is there a way to know if his account has really been suspended?

 

I actually found the bonus email. I did the study 8/24 and was bonused 8/27.

 

I did the HIT 8/25 and was paid the .50 for the hit but never the bonus. I've written him 3 times and he finally wrote me back tonight. It's possible he paid out some bonuses to a few and then got suspended and lost access to his account. IDK.

 

I was hoping the mystery MIA requester would be Chris Calhoun so that @turker could get some closure. Sorry about your missing money!

 

The Chris Calhoun situation is a weird one. He has always paid out.

I did the HIT on 06/07 and got my bonus 06/14. But @turker posted earlier she's been waiting 17 days and has tried messaging with no response.

This guy responded to my email on August 31st letting me know he would pay out bonuses that week. I have sent a couple of follow-ups but no dice. I wonder if he got banned too? On Sunday I am probably going to market it unpaid as it has been over a month now since the HIT was completed. I see a few reviews from people who frequent the Daily in his review section without confirmed bonuses so I don't think it is just me.

 

I had a thought. If a requester gets their account closed how are they still getting messages from workers on Mturk? I mean would the "Contact Requester" messages continue to be forwarded to the requester's email?

 

I got this bonus on Tuesday...

Those 200+ HITs were completed in June.
So, I guess, don't give up hope? Or, go ahead and forget about it for several months and maybe get a surprise from a ghost.
Halloween is coming up, after all.
