I didn't get that error message, but I did not receive a survey code at the end and I had to e-mail them.

 

Hmm. Strange.

Was there a direct email address? I could only message through on MTurk but I'm doubtful. I clicked back one page and got this, so there might be an option to finish, but... again, doubtful.

I'll risk the rejection and use my ID since I attempted to do it again like a fool and got the same error.

AON isn't set up to give codes. They ask you for the Worker ID at the end in the external site (emphasizing the importance, because this is how they pay you), and then submit the HIT in the MTurk frame. It auto saves after each page, so after you get to page with the mountain, you're done.
That type of program makes a CSR file of workers IDS at end, and I'd imagine they paid after cross-referencing.

They don't have a confirmation message, and it's pretty ambiguous, but you don't need to anything else to save there. If you got another message, I'd just screenshot the end page with the URL. They're 3/3 paid for me

I figured that the ID would be used for compensation, but the error was on their end with their servers experiencing errors and the survey being buggy. I'm not sure if it had to do with my end or not, but it gave me a chance to review the bubbles "I missed" (repeated this 3x) until I got an administrator error and emailed them.

Fortunately as a last resort I attempted to review the "unmarked answered" again, this time with my trackpad instead of laptop touch screen, and it counted my answers and went to the end of the survey to enter my ID. So all-in-all I think this will turn out alright after all! Thank you for the information about them.
