^^^ This is my impression of how the bonus tracking in MTS works. To display your correct hourly for the job. If you go to HIT Tracker and look at your daily totals there, it will update the total for the day the HIT was accepted.

Remember that Dashboard is a feature of Mturk. Amazon doesn't care which day the bonus should be attributed to, only that you received it, which is why tools like MTS help you track at the micro level.

Personally, this is how I track bonuses:

1. Put bonus in my review.
2. Bonus email received. Look up HIT in HIT tracker using long ID number in email.
3. Add bonus in HIT Tracker, refresh page to make sure it took.
4. Go to TurkerView and confirm bonus and update review if needed.

* Because some requesters may bonus the same HIT ID more than once, I always load the HIT first in HIT Tracker before copy/pasting the email. The bonus tracker in HIT Tracker is not additive/cumulative. It simply overwrites the information that is in the database. So for situations like this, you will have to just do the math in your head and change the total in the email before pasting it.
