Thank you! Yeah, I try to start early because I'm pacific time/gmt-8 and by 9 am my time it's noon on the east coast already so a lot of the good hits are scooped up. By 7:30~ I try to be at $12-15 while passively doing other tasks, not 100% focused on mturk the whole time.

I cannot stand pumpkin anything so when the pumpkin spice epidemic hits every year I cringe. I'm also allergic to the inside of the pumpkin. It causes a burning rash on my arms and hands and anything else skin related it touches on me. That being said.. everyone else in my house is pumpkin obsessed. The smell of pumpkin is nauseating to me. I do my good deed every year though and grow 30-40 sugar pumpkins. Then I roast them, scoop out the pumpkin meat, puree it, and freeze it in 2 cup portions using a food saver seal a meal machine. Then when I "want" (and that term was so hard to type) to make a pumpkin pie for the sickos in this house I pull a bag out of the freezer. When it's defrosted then a 2 cup bag makes about two 8 inch pumpkin pies. Then I can sit back and eat apple pie while they eat the nasty stuff.

I go to a pumpkin patch. I get the best deals on the last Friday they are open and prep and freeze a bunch of pie filling. Probably stated this before but I was born on Thanksgiving and all I ever get is pie, not cake, lol. So I learned what I like and don't like in a pumpkin pie.

 

I generally find store bought pies to be gross. That's just me though. The pumpkin pie I make has molasses in it and these guys just gobble it up. I made two pies yesterday actually. One for the kids and hubby here and one to go to a family up the street that has had a rough week. So I should be pie free in this house within the next 24 hours lol
