    ah ok. the usual HIT thresholds are 100, 500, 1000, 1000, 50,000 and 100,000. So its probably just the fact that some requester put out a ton of hits somewhere

    either way... the number of hits available to you isn't really that important. its all about quality over quantity on mturk since 99% of all Hits are absolute trash.
