Yes. I emailed him and this email as well because they were the two emails on the consent form. I ialso included the code that I used when I submitted the first survey and I submitted the second survey with my Worker ID as asked. I am always polite when messaging requesters about rejections so was not expecting that response.

He probably ran out of money, so he started rejecting people in order to not pay us. As Kevin Kline famously said in "A Fish called Wanda"

I forgot to say, but I got married earlier this month!

 

Irrelevant side note: can't believe I saw someone in the RETURN reviews talking about how they didn't get a code. You get to the end of a 6 dollar survey and just RETURN it because you didn't get a code??

6 dollars is worth playing Rejection Roullete if you ask me, but to each their own.

 

I have a pretty big cushion before I would fall under 99% approval and have never felt the need to pursue a rejection past a message or two but I will be forwarding this message to the IRB. I've never actually gone that route because I don't like to waste the time or energy but I feel like his response was unprofessional.

I'm glad I didn't even bother emailing him and just sent an email straight to the IRB.
