Not sure I've ever heard of it until this post but in fairness I haven't seen any of the old people movies @Tracy Wethington likes so that's probably not saying much

I really want to dispute that, but 1994 is damn near 30 years ago.

It also amuses me that movies like Ace Ventura would then qualify as an old person movie, because I swear I never thought I'd see the day when a movie that has a guy talking out of his ass was categorized that way
