hi guys has anyone gotten any approvals or rejections yet on the vivek hits? from either batch that is currently up. I've had hits pending from 1 of the 2 batches for like 9-10 days. no approvals yet. maybe if we start emailing the requester to ask for the hits to be approved, then it will happen.

Hi Turker!

I don't know about this specific requester, but just in general if it's an academic requester, I usually find their phone number and call them about 6 hours after I submit their HITs to gently remind them that my HITs are still pending. Then, if they still don't approve, I find their office address and send them a flower basket with a postcard that says "I'm still waiting and thinking of you, xoxo". That usually does it. But if not, then and only then do I email them, because I don't wanna be annoying or anything like that.

Regarding a certain rejection from a certain requester and fake names, I got this after a somewhat contentious email exchange, where I mentioned that I would contact their IRB "regarding this incredible, and frankly, mind-numbing lack of ethics." (my quote). This new note was now left in the comment after reversing:
