I'm in two layers of clothing and my bathrobe with a heating pad on my lap. How much you want? We are in the teens/singles so at least it's not below zero....

 

Right? This cold has some of us resorting to becoming mad scientists and engineers. Winshield deflectors, duct tape, mechanical timers, and space heaters... feels like the start of MacGuyver around here.

My poor excel spreadsheets have been getting overworked from all this batch work of formulas and calculations. Then I got to add ambient temperature and time gradients for personal pet projects irl. lol

I just covered my single pane windows with bubble wrap to see if it works better than the hairdryer/shrink wrap method.

 

Say it with me... car winshield deflectors turned inwards and duct tape. Goes up easy, reflects a little of that heat back atcha, and comes down with only minor goo or paint damage A small price to pay for salvation. Turn your rooms into ovens!
