I understand that. I know I didn't perform poorly on the survey in question (the one that gave me the CR 2 qual b/c it paid out and was a continuous survey over several weeks. I'm just trying to figure out if I can undo it or still get the CR 1 regardless. I reached out to the requester and I'll wait and see. I appreciate the information.

This 100%! It really emphasizes that they can do what they want, for any reason, with no accountability. A few people have also reported getting CR #2 after changing political or religious preferences (perhaps CR has a response consistency algorithm?) We'll never know exactly how people get CR #1, but it IS possible to obtain and lose.

The reason people mention StudyLab, is that they are the most reliable and available CR HIT, posting multiple hits that are accessible, 24/7.

When I reached out to them a year ago they told me " We are consistently updating qualifications and re-evaluating workers through the year, so for now the best thing to do would be to complete the surveys you qualify for to the best of your ability making sure you are providing accurate and high quality data"

 

Not gonna lie, I've done that before when I was drunk. I mean sober.

Pros:
I didn't encounter anything that hadn't been encountered by other workers and noted in their reviews. It took about the same amount of minutes as most others. I only took a 2-3 minute break. It's something to do on a slow day at least.

Cons:
There's writing involved for both note-taking (for yourself) and write-in responses to questions. There's not really anyway to speed through this. Since this study takes an hour no matter what it should really pay more.
