This July will be 7 years for me. There are many others who have done it much longer.

But yeah, there used to be some pretty awesome requesters who would post regularly. And you would be available to turk at those times or miss out. I recall Zoltar was a good one for the mornings. I used to postpone cooking dinner when Mountain posted hits. Back in the day I could do Pinterest hits and made a bundle off of them, but no longer can do them due to one trick batch a few years ago.

I no longer plan my days around turking much at all. Only for one requester at the moment, because they actually post at a convenient time for me, lol.

But it has changed. Not worse, really, just different.
