If you can afford to then yeah. Doing something you like is always better for your mentality.

 

Can you still pay everything with the pay cut?
Dont forget to add in the difference in the benefits too.
Sometimes taking a pay cut for a better job sounds great, but the added stress of trying to live month to month on the pay cut might not be worth it in the long run.
But if you can budget and still be ok.. go for it!

 

I might have to do something on the side to make it up but at this point I think it'd be worth it, I hate my current job

 

If I were still able to pay my bills and not have to stress too much about money then yes. I quit my job this year to be home with my children and am just doing mTurk and making significantly less money but I am much happier and my mental health is much better.

My boyfriend does have a full time job though so I don't have to stress if it is a slow week on here. I made a budget before I made the job change to make sure we would be fine financially and we have just cut back some when it comes to things like ordering out food.

My wife is looking for a new job too but her and I don't think the same so it causes some issues, like I'd rather do something I like, she's just whatever pays the most.

 

Also, crunchy peanut butter is best.
