    should have read the reviews beforehand because everything here smacks of a careless requester: code entry field is not long enough for the full code, bad pay, asks to donate your bonus on top of already shit pay which I find even more disrespectful, wants explanations for every answer

    On the Requester dashboard, there's a separate approval rating that only applies to their account (i.e. if a worker hasn't done any HITs ever for that requester, they will show up as 0% approval). There are a few new requesters that mistake this as meaning the worker's approval rating overall and that is probably what happened here.

    Another new requester who doesn't understand how MTurk works... IIRC, if no one has done HITs for them, everyone will have a blank approval rate on their own HITs they release. They aren't looking at overall approval rate that we take good care of, but their individualized ones. And now as a result, they themselves have a 0% approval rate.

    Hello everyone! I used to use MTurk full-time a couple years back and ended up falling off - I'm slowly but surely coming back and just re-downloaded Mturk Suite! I've missed this community a lot!!!
    Does anyone have a solid block list for HIT Finder, please?

    Just block all crappy receipt HITs and 0.01 transcribing HITs to start. Personally I wouldn't block anything else, because many requesters can redeem themselves in time and prove to be good and trustworthy as they learn.
