I feel ya! I'm at 3.6 download and 0.6 upload...that's why I can never seem to catch anything. Crappy internet has a monopoly in my area.

I don't know much about these kinds of things, but why such a big difference in download and upload speed?

 

How is this even possible? Feel like the ISP has to put in extra work to make this so bad lol

My understanding is that it's basically designed that way. The vast majority of residential users aren't uploading much, so ISPs give priority to download speed.
