For anyone who wasn't around yesterday (I did kind of post it at a bad time.. gotta go back to stealing Daily Threads from TissueHime lol)

A few days ago I mentioned trying to learn the requester interface. This is another extension of that because I have loose plans to enable payments for certain content submissions here on the site (stuff like MotM, etc).

For now if you want to get pre-registered with that system you'll be able to use the CAPTCHA clear batch I've uploaded specifically for members here to use. I know it isn't a grand gesture or anything, but having something reliable (it'll be there at least for the next year) & safe (unlike CopyText, I wont block you.. probably) is hopefully a nice gesture for helping me learn something new .

You'll need at least 1 post to submit the form. Sorry lurker bros/broettes just say "Hi" sometime and you'll be good to go. Its not instantly processed (yet), doing it by hand while I try to learn some of the commands/workings so you might see delays on qual grants if you submit while I'm AFK. Sorry. Please report back if/when you get an e-mail (or if you get the qual w/o an e-mail from mTurk, any data is good data).

If you have spouse/family/friends you can submit multiple worker IDs, just separate them with a comma. They don't need to register/post, but if I have to pull their qual for any reason you'll lose yours as well. The FIRST worker ID submitted in the text box will be the one associated with the date for birthday HITs. Only active members will qualify for birthday HITs when I do set that system up, and it isn't required to submit with the form if you don't want to.

The submit button on the CAPTCHA clear batch is disabled, circumventing this and submitting the HITs will get your qual pulled (they still cost money to put up even if the pay is $0.00). Somehow managing to do it on accident once probably wont be a big deal, but your punishment will be waiting the full 30 days for approval /evillll

You'll need to edit your captcha clear script to use the new groupId, should be something like

Reward was 1.50 this morning. Also check the consent page to see if they updated it because when I did it this morning it said it paid $2 and I emailed them about it.
