Good advice. I keep to turkmaster and hitscrapper but I'm planning on witching to hit finder / hit catcher / OW to save on requests.

Oh and I try to do just an hour or 2 focused work on mturk (gotta work in my farm most of the day), weekend I multitask at the PC

Vertical monitors are great for everything that isn't watching videos or playing video games. I also use mine for reading manga as well.

The big thing that I likely glossed over or forgot to mention to @Toshi is that worker.mturk and www.mturk both have their own page refresh pools.

That means that you can query mturk once per a second for each website. It would be foolish to not use both to their full potential.

Basically run your searching and shit all on one and run your pandaing all on the other. (Currently hit catcher only runs on www but at some point it will run on worker as well and we will be able to switch things up a bit)

You will need to login to both sides of mturk as well each time so that an be annoying but isn't really a big deal and is totally worth it.

 

@Celtic Lady, @dan, @jessers I'm going to hear "Hey Cortana, Stop" in my sleep.

 

Oh and if you have the desk space for it another thing to try out is an ultra wide monitor and I'm sure that @Hummingbirdee can chime in on how it is using one of those.

Personally I'm not a huge fan of them because they will have black bars while watching most shit but for gaming and work they are likely great.

Honestly it is the most useful when I take a nap or something on days that I need one. With TTS alerts in my ear I can safely relax knowing that if a batch drops I will know and be alerted but until that but I can just relax.

 

You can even backup all your userscripts if you guys didn't know about that.

 

Its not as bad as some of the things I've heard, I read a post one time where some clown said he could drive a truck while turking, but I think uninterrupted sleep > a good batch.
