Modern mice sensors don't really care about what surface they are on anyways.

Is there a quicker way to clear the blocklist than going by individual requester?

They don't. Its the pet hair/dust factor for me. My desk top is slightly textured as well and it could be finicky while gaming.

Uninstall the extension, then reinstall it? Back your stuff up.

What mouse do you have? I seriously haven't had an issue like that in years even when I lived back at home with my parent's cats. I personally have a logitech g600.

ctrl+shift+J on HF page --> Application tab at the top --> Local Storage --> Should see Block_List on the right, double click in value and delete the text that's in there and put "{}" without quotations and press enter, refresh

Logitch g300s. What made me get this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M1E2L0S/?tag=thtv0f-20 was actually because of cat hair.. its not an all the time thing.. would just really erk me... and we had been using "metal" ones.. I use quotations because I got finger nail polish remover on it and it ate away the coating. Lol clearly not metal.

I think it is also a comfort thing. My arm is always resting there - holding the mouse.. its soft, not cold.. etc. Just comfy. :)

Yeah I use a mouse pad with a wrist pad for comfort but I know that my g600 works without it. :dunno:

Also it keeps you from scratching the desk up so mouse pads are important for that anyways
