I've been working on mturk for 3 years (first time posting here), but there's one thing that always makes me hesitate...When you get to the end of a quiz and the requester enters something like this: "Your code is: jfejwp3." On some HITS it's very hard to see whether or not that period at the end is bold, or it might not be bold at all. Do you include it in the code or is it just a regular period?
I just finished a HIT like this and messaged the requester about it, just to make sure they understood that is rather confusing. I can only hope they approve my HIT.
What would you do in this situation?

I never enter the period and it's never gotten me a rejection, but I avoid requesters with a history of senseless rejects.

I also never enter the period. I also check for an extra space when I copy-paste. But I agree it's confusing! When something is ambiguous, I generally take a screenshot as a 'rejection defense.'
