That is strange but personally I haven't noticed this. Its basically been steadily the same as it was in the previous weeks leading up to now. Its not much different from the summer..

There was a brief week or two with a couple nice batches that really saved the day, but other than that... my MTurk earnings weekly aint much. If it wasn't for Prolific, I'd be applying to Taco Bell

I'd get if its just MTurk but other platforms (Prolific and co) are also not as busy as they used to be.

 

I do wonder if the recent downtime that was happening regularly on MTurk has anything to do with it. Those days when you'd get the message about they are doing work on the system or whatever it said and you couldn't use MTurk at all while it was down.

I wondered if this set reqs back enough to where they stopped trying to use MTurk at the moment

 

This week so far, well the weekdays, every day I make under $6 or $7 for the day until mid-late afternoon when a batch might show up and I make around $25-$30 for the day. I think, I should be productive with that time and organize my office or something, but I'm almost paralyzed with fear. A here and there client who has me bill him using Upwork just renewed his Upwork contract for me yesterday, which gives me some hope that he has a project or two coming up for me, but still..

It definitely helps to get some other stuff done if nothing's happening. I've been exercising, practicing guitar/synthesizer sound design, learning Spanish and washing dishes.

If you are using QBC and can enable push notifications for hits, its a lot better than sitting and waiting

Its not any different from finding any other hit. They just don't last long and some have qualifications to even see them. Short answer is you have to be quick on the draw and a well established worker
