Stay distracted, focus on the fact that I woke up today. Be grateful for another day of life, tomorrow is never promised to any of us. I battle some severe depression and anxiety so staying distracted is something I try to master whether I want to or not, I need to. If you've overcome things in the past and are still here, you're here for a purpose. Try to focus on finding that purpose. Mturk has been shit lately, I'm worried about losing everything because this is my FT income here. I'm blessed to have my living situation as it is and make enough here to survive, but I'm by no means happy. About to start selling on ebay again, good thing I have inventory built up to sell. Don't put all of your eggs in one basket!

I don't understand either, they won't even approve me. I tried to register there, was told no and to never try again. I actually did about $20 of work there only to be told my account was deactivated. They gave me a generic bs reason with literally no explanation why. I've researched it and I'm not the only one they've did this to. I've did the ID verification and all that bs, no luck. I gave up on them a long time ago. Would be nice to have another crutch to fall back on. I stack multiple sites. Check out beer money on reddit!

 

Agreed. My child had to go through zillions of diagnostic tests, constant fear for a couple of years. I always remind myself, he is perfectly fine now, none turned out true. Something to be thankful about that I woke up today and those days are in the past. I still have many worries, but none make me feel like I want to crawl out of my skin.

I tend to focus on what I can affect. If I can do something about it, I worry about it, or invest emotion in it. Outside of that, everything else is just static that can bring you down. If you have family or anyone you care about, be present for them and enjoy their company. If you have pets, enjoy the moments. If you have something you're passionate about, put time and energy into that. Things out there may be bad but finding small points that bring happiness truly help. Having a good group of friends or family for sure helps a lot. Celebrate the small victories, set small goals if possible, and they'll add up to something bigger.
Coping is a skill that can be built up, and ultimately we're all trying to move from surviving to thriving, and that takes planning and dedication.
