Discover is good. online only but transfers between savings and checking is instant and you get a pretty high interest rate

 

Seconded. I use a local credit union for banking, but I withdraw MTurk into an Ally account.

Pretty much the same scenario here. Except my local bank just turned into Synovous everywhere...

 

What problem exactly? I have Wells Fargo and they haven't stopped me from doing Amazon transfers. Just deposited my amazon dough this mornimg.

 

I like that USAA is fast if I withdraw money it is always there the next day (except weekends) and if I withdraw early in he morning it will be in my account in the afternoon.

 

Just got a hit- I'll check out some of these- curious about the Ally.

Ally is so damn good. I originally signed up for an account to throw excess TH funds into so it wasn't sitting in PP and I opened a personal account with them too because its actually just really well done. Clean navigation, no annoying bullshit, + yeah the interest rate is really good considering the non-existent account requirements.

The one and only "drawback" is that it doesn't "exist" in the real world, so if you're old school and need brick & mortar its not your jam. Otherwise idk why you'd go anywhere else for a simple account. Can transfer money to your checking account 4-5x/mo with no problems so just use it as an intermediary between mTurk and WF if you have to. But I think AP may just be having issues someone else posted about it on reddit?

I don't think this is a WF issue, its an AP one. Someone else had this problem on /r/mturk

 

Weird, I would call and see what's up cause I just did a transfer into my account without any problems. Hopefully things get sorted out!

 

Only thing I'll add is that they have a limit on transfers so, not sure if you're one of those every day transfer kinda people. If so, probably not for you.

 

It should only be xfers out though, right? The xfer limit on savings accounts is federal, not specific to Ally. And IIRC they offer checking accounts (the interest isn't nearly as good, but still better than normal bank checking accounts) which would act as normal.
