Just sucks that there's no way to know exactly how to get it and who even to contact. I've emailed Cloud Research so many times and just keep getting hit with the generic message "Just keep doing more Cloud Research surveys and you'll get it in no time".

 

I was wondering how it works now with Connect. Did the CR1 go there and they changed the name on MTurk to distinguish? Do they have qualifications on Connect? I just signed up there a week ago and was surprised that I was not asked about MTurk.

 

I think they're just stringing us along. For whatever reason they left us out in the cold, and its not going to change....But I would like to be wrong, and think that we'll get access one day....

I've been with Connect for a couple months now.. there's not much going on there. You'll get like 2-3 studies a day with an occasional Jury Duty. It's mostly like Prolific and they give you surveys based on your demographics.

Yeah, that's been it for me too...but in some cases, that has been more than MTurk. I was wondering about comments that people were getting waitlisted after working on the platform for a while - and that doesn't make sense to me. So I am just taking a "wait and see" approach. Hoping it will help though in the long run since MTurk dried up.
