    The IRS delayed the $600 reporting threshold thing for this year so the previous rule of $20000 still applies to probably not a lot of people here (Announcement). So they may or may not do it since the announcement was in December and most businesses would have most likely already prepped it since they have to file it with the IRS and mail it out during the first few months of the year.

    But I'm leaning toward "No" since it would require effort and money to send them out and we all know how Mturk lazily operates. Though waiting a little since there IS a deadline for them to file it (if they are going to, whichever form it is, and all of which are due well before the tax filing deadline) might be a good idea, just in case.

    Disclaimer: Not tax professional, believe with grain of salt.

    P.S. I'm mostly sure it's the 1099-K which has to be filed by them by the end of January, maybe.

    Federally these have been delayed as other posters have said, but certain states have already implemented the new $600 threshold - Vermont, Massachusetts, Virginia, Maryland - I live in one of these states and have already received my 1099-Ks from MTurk and Paypal. IMO if you haven't received a 1099-K yet you probably will not for 2022.

    I got one and have been getting one for a few years now, but that could all be because of NJ law. Like 2-3 years ago NJ made it law no matter how little we earn we must get that 1099.
