I really don't want to stick out like a sore thumb on the other posts in the forum and ask, but anyone know how things are going with the new not QBC? My laptop won't run it, and every morning with QBC on my desktop is like "maybemaybemaybe...yay it works!" My nerve endings are ending.

Are you sure you're not trying to use QBC when MTurk is down? If so, it will cause QBC to fail loading/crash/behave weird

No, QBC on the desktop is fairly smooth, just slow loading, but I logged in on my laptop just now to see what the error was, and the one I usually get is gone, yay. But there was some kind of syncing issue. But it seems to run.

So I guess nevermind please ignore me.

 

yeah the sync will not work when MTurk is down. Since its down literally off and on all day, sometimes many times per hour, sounds like a good chance its what you are encountering

To further clarify that, if you already have QBC running, it won't crash when MTurk goes down unless you try to perform certain actions.. if notice its down, I just leave QBC alone until its back

So you may not notice the issue is related and it appears fine
