still haven't done mine nor looked them up. I saw I had 12 yesterday but wouldn't let myself work.

 

They posted a good, small batch yesterday and then a crap batch later in the night that I pretty much just returned what I caught

Neither lasted long

 

I've still got 12 of the 0.25 but it's in red. might do it in a little just to check it out. she also sent an email yesterday and said that they allotted so many for everyone and it wasn't going to be a hunger games thing.

 

Ahh interesting. Was wondering if they may do this. Hopefully the fact I only worked a couple of the crap ones and returned the rest doesn't affect my quals

 

Saw this in their chat... this was after the batches I did, so I guess the stuff about creating user specific batches doesn't apply to what I saw yesterday bc that was before they said this in chat

"right now the way we do fair share is to assign each of you a value in the qual type and distribute HITs by value in the qual type, so each one has their own task. but apparently mturk shows the HITs to all people in the qual type, which is really annoying. We will create a qual type for each of you tomorrow and relaunch the task. Sorry for the spam"

 

Btw, the 10 cent hits verifying facts was the bad one for me... perhaps its just luck of the draw but I kept getting very strange "facts" that required Googling which took way too long to be worth the time

Love the "explain it to me" cus I can write explanations fast

 

haven't checked slack in awhile. I've been busy with my prolific batchwork when I have felt like coming on. I just checked and laughed because my mturk is at like $35 for the week, so I've already hit the new goal I made when @Random Turker mentioned it. I'm getting closer and closer to the idea of an early weekend...

I've done 123.46 on MTurk this week, across all 3 only 210.26

 

I feel like connect has really had some brake pumping since all these payment issues. I hope it resumes next week. Yeah. if it wasn't for certain quals on prolific. I'd be super screwed. I even still have a $10 VT in my queue now. I still have the crowd power in my catcher so I'm hoping a few of those show back up when I feel like working.

 

I'm doing a lazy day instead of full-off

Set my catchers to $15/hr minimum and not taking any BS on Prolific/Connect

Thinking about cleaning house or going outside

Me too. I'm at $33 right now between Prolific and Mturk. I haven't added up Connect yet. I really wish Prolific and Connect had a dashboard like Mturk where you can see your earnings by day. Or at least a browser extension or something.

 

Make a spreadsheet and keep it updated as you do work through the day... I have mine with columns for each platform that auto-totals everything, and another set of columns for the week, and another for the month

I also use OpenOffice which is free
