Do you have a universal catcher vs. one for a specific HIT? Is that a QBC thing?

 

Well you're smarter than I am to do that, that's why.

 

yeah probably the main feature of QBC is the ability to catch hits based on pre-defined metrics like hourly rate

 

I've started doing that. It's been eye-opening once I got it run YTD's by platform. Prolific has been the winner for me so far this year.

 

Is the learning curve steep on QBC? I've been using MTS but I'm wondering if I need to try something else. But i'm also not sure I turk enough/qualify for enough to justify the $20/m fee.

 

There is a pretty good tutorial video included when you sign up but it can take a while to figure out all the little options. Main thing lately is some users seem to be having issues getting it running/installed and I've seen one person say they never got emailed with the installation link. I can't really comment on any of that since its not my experience, but there may be issues for new users

It does include like a week free trial so I always recommend trying it for yourself

THen there's TurkGuru which has the same catcher feature but doesn't have as indepth setup and also it doesn't seem to use TV ratings

 

whyyyyy does this guy hate age quals. that's the second time I've excitedly accepted this and had to throw it back, beware
*lol, on pasting the export I see he actually has them now, sorta? but "age 45-55 = 0" only helps so much when his cutoff is 39

I'd say worth it WHEN it works. Results speak for themselves. But at least my experience has been Hit or miss at best.

 

How do I share to the forum hits that I get from Guru? I don't mind sharing here. I just got a good one for $22.

 

thanks for the heads up, i JUST saw that and was gonna take it after lunch but im well over 39 and id been pissed if i wasted my time on something like that where the age quals are wrong

 

Anyone who has had problems, would love to hear exactly what the issues are

In fairness, you do see his "18-39" deal on the front page of the survey, it's not a lot of time wasted. Just sucks to get your hopes up for a $10 hit and then get hit with "ew, you're old" instead

 

If it makes you feel better, I tossed it back after 45 minutes of full-screen with no end in sight.
