im seeing this kinda bs a lot on "work" surveys, makes me wonder who thought that this was a good idea since im guessing most will say "HELL NO" right off, most of the remaining will just get a second email or friend/spouse to be the "coworker" and the rest will just ignore it

Greetings to all. I have a sincere and legitimate concern: Is there a way for me to complain to MTURK about a particular requester?
I already emailed and spoke with the requester about a rejection because I included my opinion, which I am entitled to and they always for any comments or opinions, and all I said that their "survey was too long." Requester rejected me for that, not for missing any attention checks.

 

If it is a university based survey, I always mention that I am going to write to the department head. It get reversed real quick after that.

 

sadly you can complain to AMT all you want but the reality is that they will probably do nothing about it. if the req has an IRB you can try and find that out but aside from that and rating a bad review on TV, thats really it

 

This is the better way to go about it.

You can try reporting to MTurk, but only option is the report feature and those reports seem to go straight into the trashcan

 

but sometimes you get that department head that got really shitty with me back around Thanksgiving until I contacted the IRB and it was immediately reversed.

 

They won't care. I contacted them the other day to reverse a rejection (even though I knew they wouldn't do anything) just to see what would happen and they wrote me back saying basically they don't get involved in disputes.
