Regarding specific reqs/hits tho, for example if Ben Peterson creates an RID Watcher, it will pretty much remain active indefinitely. This makes sense to me since those Peterson hits cycle infinitely. But just regular 1 off survey hits will turn off the panda after a few mins or however long it is

If you're only experiencing this issue with limited number of reqs, maybe they are all similar to the Peterson scenario?

 

Yeah, it's the case with all of them. I was wondering why I was getting errors about "too many active pandas" until I started seeing these numbers

 

I only have a few requester pandas since I don't have a lot of batch quals. For closed quals or Noahs or things that tend to expire but show up or get tossed back because people get lazy, I don't mind. But a few of my req watchers are because they post HITs below my minimum accept threshold but have an insane enough hourly and are frequent enough at posting that it's worth the couple of bucks a day.

I believe QBC should also be automatically managing the number of active pandas itself. I've never had too many active pandas unless it either me creating too many myself on "No Group" or if a req is spamming tons of hits that QBC is trying to catch

I've used Req Watchers heavily in the past, pretty much every req worth working I have setup Req Watchers for, but I've modified my workflow in the last months to where I just let the scraper try to catch everything and save RIDs for only the very best/batchwork Reqs

I was actually gonna shut down and go to bed or something before I caught that. Only one per batch but now I'm wondering if I should stay up and see if they post more batches...

 

those are great i've made some serious bank on them in the past, but the latest one I did this week said to only work 1 hit per posting, so I don't know if that will be the same from now on..

It was also a little different than previous hits, kinda seemed like every scenario was an AC. Could be a sneaky qual

 

The first task was kinda engaging and a nice interface for a change, but then it went back to the usual pattern recog/logic type stuff and the final demos were seriously annoying the way they did it
